The dynamic chat is a wonderful part of attending the weekly Posit PBC Data Science Hangout live. This semester, I was teaching during the Hangout, so I missed them live. I wanted a way to relive the excitement of attending live while watching the YouTube video posted later. So, I built a tool that allows anyone to replay the chat in sync with the video (even if one watches the video at 2x or more). The tool is available at
A nice benefit is that it also gives a much more pleasant view of the full chat archive than the Zoom text file.
